United Pullers of Minnesota events follow the current NTPA (National Tractor Pullers Association) rulebook for class specifications, safety, and tech inspection, plus any additional club-specific rules adopted by the UPM board.

UPM supplementary rules: Any season- or event-specific requirements adopted by UPM will be communicated to competitors in addition to the NTPA rulebook.
